First housemate ELIMINATED from Big Brother house

The honeymoon period was well and truly over as the first-ever housemate was evicted from the Big Brother House.

Former male model Josh was given the boot after he asked to be put up for elimination.

The 32-year-old gave his heart to fellow housemate Sam, who he knows from the outside and had dated in the past.

The pair had a private conversation where Josh had asked the intimacy coach if she would ever have feelings for him.

“I’m just really hurt… you’re not saying anything I want to hear so it’s really hard to hear,” he said to Sam.

Following their conversation, Josh asked his housemates to put him up for elimination.

“I just don’t want to be here… don’t change my mind, I know what I want,” he told his housemates.

A sudden turn of events shockingly saw Josh change his mind and ask to stay in the house. By this point, however, the J-Squad brothers had realised he was too much of a liability.

“He’s so sporadic, erratic, unpredictable! How on earth can I work with someone like this,” superfan Johnson said to Big Brother.

During the nomination challenge Josh and Joel fought it out for the spot to put three housemates up for elimination – but it was fitness fanatic Joel who won his second challenge.

Estelle, Sam, and Josh were all up for elimination with a tie of six votes each between Sam and Josh. It came down to challenge winner Joel who had to choose between his J-Squad member and Sam.

But Josh’s emotional rollercoaster cost him his position in the game as his J-Squad mate deemed him too much of a liability.

“I’m feeling good, I pretty much got what I needed to get out of the experience… I gave the girl of my dreams what she needed to get an opportunity for Australia to fall in love with her as much as I have,” he told the cameras as he left the house.

Big Brother continues on Wednesday at 7.30pm on Seven and 7Plus.
