Don’t worry darling, Florence Pugh just posted about the controversial film amid all the ongoing drama.

In two new Instagram posts, the actor shared a series of on-set photos that she took while filming Don’t Worry Darling. She even included a photo with director and costar Olivia Wilde, despite their rumoured feud that reportedly sparked over Shia Labeouf’s inclusion in the project and his eventual exit (it’s still unclear if he was fired or quit). Most recently, Vulture reported the tension between the pair escalated into a “screaming match” over the director’s “frequent unexplained absences” during production with her boyfriend and LaBeouf’s replacement, Harry Styles.

“It’s here.. and ready to be seen. @dontworrydarling is in cinemas,” Pugh began the post before giving her first shoutout to her hair and makeup team. “We met so many talented people, visited some insane locations, worked hard in the desert dust and looked good whilst doing so.”

Much of her post is giving “my favourite thing about the movie is that it feels like a movie” energy in that her description of DWD sure makes it sound like a movie! “Whenever I watch massive impressive movie moments on massive screens I always remind myself that there is a boom just inches from the frame I’m watching,” she wrote. “Or marks on the floor just below the actors waists. It’s crazy to think that each set up and scene takes a large portion of a day to execute, and on this one…there was a lot to execute! Explosions, car chases, cocktail balancing, underwater sequences, running, drinking, more running…”

Ultimately, Florence Pugh did say she “will always be grateful” to have been a part of the production. “This film was such an epic story on such a large scale to shoot, all while during peak Covid times. For that I will always be grateful,” she wrote. “To all of you who helped make this, your dedication and love was seen daily – thank you.”
