Recent food recall alerts by the UK Food Standards Agency (FSA) include a range of products sold in Sainsbury’s, Lidl, and Asda.

The supermarkets have withdrawn selected food items from their shelves and urged customers not to eat them if already purchased them.

It comes following concerns that the items pose a “serious health risk” to consumers, ranging from the presence of harmful bacteria, or an allergen that has not been declared on the label.

The FSA regularly issues urgent alerts to supermarkets and customers who sell or purchase affected items.
