Manchester United could be taken off the market as the Glazers consider scrapping the sale process completely, according to The Sun.
A soft deadline for bids had been set last month with Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani both launching proposals.
But all possibilities are still on the table as the Glazers’ £6billion valuation remains untouched.
Instead of a full sale, one option under consideration is using external cash, possibly from US hedge funds, to create a new company that pushes the club’s merchandising and digital commercial operation.
