For national lipstick day, 5 GLAMOUR staffers fan-girl over the lipsticks they’re obsessed with right now

I remember going to the launch of Charlotte Tilbury’s Original Hot Lips collection back when I was a baby journalist. Everyone was mega excited over the nudes, but for me, one shade stood out: Miranda May, a pretty, peppy, uplifting coral. It gives a bit of everything, it has a Parisian feel going for it, mixed with summer senorita vibes. And since I’m not great at keeping a statement lip in place, I prefer to pat it into my lips and blend it out for a smudgier, low-key just-bitten finish.

It’s quieter than a bright red lip and makes a softer statement that I feel right at home wearing day-to-day. This lipstick has been everywhere with me, on every holiday and every work trip. I wore it for the interview to get my job at GLAMOUR, and I wore it the night I got engaged before I smooched it all off over future hubs. Just like him, it’s a keeper.

If you know me, you’ll know that I am forever on a quest to find the perfect nude lipstick. It has to be *perfect*. Not too brown, not too pink, not too dark, not too ashy. After trying on the shade ‘Interview’ then and there, my best friend told me, “that’s the one”. It’s served me loyally ever since. The creamy texture means it never feels drying, and packs a punch with pigment, giving a perfectly smooth pout. I love pairing it with a darker lip liner to give me a 90s lip moment, but it always serves me beautifully on its own.
