The package, available at a $2,995 premium in Canada, can be optioned on the 2023 Maverick XLT and Lariat trims starting this fall. There’s also a Tremor Appearance Package, which costs $1,495. Both packages are available for ordering in September.
“Ranger, F-150, and Super Duty customers have embraced the unique off-road capability, technology and appearance updates found across our Tremor family of trucks,” said Todd Eckert, Ford truck product marketing and brand manager. “Maverick Tremor delivers on this same promise with new functions and features designed for off-roading — all while keeping the truck’s signature size, affordability, and Built Ford Tough durability and capability.”
The 250-horsepower Maverick Tremor includes all-wheel-drive, a twin-clutch rear-drive locking differential, and five unique driving modes. It’s also equipped with Trail Control, allowing the driver to manage the throttle and brakes to maintain a speed pre-set by the driver to enjoy while off-roading.

While the new Tremor package will cost the Maverick some towing capacity, it does give the truck a one-inch lift, and also means it rides on exclusive front and rear springs and dampers. What’s more, its upgraded half-shafts and heavy-duty transmission cooler deliver durability.
Not satisfied simply with orange accents and bright colours in its grille, wheels, and front tow hooks, it also has a revamped front bumper cut at a better angle for off-roading. Inside, its Black Onyx seats give it a distinctive look. However, the Tremor package comes with other colourways and choices.
Production of the 2023 Maverick will begin in the fall.
