Former Bulls forward Charles Oakley made a shocking admission on the latest edition of Showtime Basketball’s KG Certified.
Oakley revealed that he’d rather play alongside LeBron James than Michael Jordan. His reason for that answer is pretty fair.
“They asked me, ‘Who’d you rather play with, LeBron or Mike?’ I said, LeBron, but Mike my best friend. Mike ain’t passing me the ball. He don’t care if I get a shot today or tomorrow,” Oakley said. “But, you know, that’s how he got to be Mike.”
Oakley was actually teammates with Jordan for three seasons in Chicago (1985-88). He was then traded to the Knicks.

Judging by the tone of Oakley’s comments, he still has a lot of appreciation for Jordan.
Of course, Jordan probably won’t love Oakley’s comments regarding this topic. That being said, he shouldn’t penalize his former teammate for being honest.
