Former Michigan State power forward Joey Hauser has signed a two-way contract with the Utah Jazz.

It came after he went undrafted in the 2023 NBA Draft. The Jazz announced the signing on Monday.

Hauser was extremely underrated for the Spartans this past season. In 34 games, he averaged 14.4 points, seven rebounds, and nearly two assists per game.

Those numbers were career-highs. Previously, his career-high in points per game was 9.7.

He spent one season at Marquette before transferring to Michigan State where he spent the last three seasons.

With a two-way contract, Hauser can split time between the G League and the NBA. It’ll be interesting to see how many games he plays for the Jazz when the 2023-24 season starts up in October.
