Hauser was extremely underrated for the Spartans this past season. In 34 games, he averaged 14.4 points, seven rebounds, and nearly two assists per game.
Those numbers were career-highs. Previously, his career-high in points per game was 9.7.
He spent one season at Marquette before transferring to Michigan State where he spent the last three seasons.
With a two-way contract, Hauser can split time between the G League and the NBA. It’ll be interesting to see how many games he plays for the Jazz when the 2023-24 season starts up in October.
