Add George Karl to the list of people in professional sports to be annoyed by Skip Bayless.
Karl is a former longtime NBA head coach,, including a successful stint with the Denver Nuggets. He’s rooting for his old team in the NBA Finals, while Skip has been bullish about the Heat winning the series.
It’s not Skip’s prediction that drew Karl’s ire last night though. Rather, it was a tweet from the FS1 personality saying that Nuggets star Nikola Jokic “lucked in” a number of shots during Sunday’s Game 2 loss to Miami.
“This man is an embarrassment to sports media,” Karl wrote in response to that tweet.

Karl will likely find a number of people who support his assessment of Bayless, but the longtime TV host doesn’t care. His brand has worked for him for decades now.
As for Jokic, he poured in 41 points on 16-of-28 shooting and added 11 rebounds but his four assists were his lowest output of the postseason.
The Heat entered the fourth quarter of Game 2 trailing by eight, but outscored Denver 36-25 in the final period to earn a 111-108 victory and knot the series at 1-1.
Game 3 is set for Wednesday night in Miami.
