“It’s almost a shambles that only two teams get promoted from this league,” Foster said after their 3-2 win. “We’re both far and away better than the rest of the teams, they need to look at that.
“Fair play to Notts County. That was as good a game as any I’ve played in, genuinely, end-to-end, chances, everyone giving it a go. It was a real intriguing way of playing football, they play a high line, we like to get in behind, hopefully the neutral enjoyed it too.”
Wrexham and Notts County are in a league of their own at the top of the table, with Woking 24 points behind in third place. They’re heavy favourites to win in the play-offs, but the postseason clashed are known to cause an upset to those in the driving seat.
