United expected big things when they signed Fred five years ago, back when Jose Mourinho ruled the roost.

Fred has often blown hot and cold during his spell at United, however, much to the frustration of the club’s supporters.
And United are ready to jettison the Samba star this summer so they can bring more reinforcements to Manchester.
They’ve already signed Mason Mount, with the playmaker moving from Chelsea for an initial fee of £55m.
