From Red Rock to the Bellagio, the top 10 Las Vegas attractions offer an eclectic array

Heading for Las Vegas anytime soon? A 10Best poll by USA Today asked readers to choose their favorite attractions from a list compiled by travel experts and Las Vegas gurus. The resulting top 10 picks offer a full array of experiences both on and off The Strip, with everything from excursions to Red Rock Canyon and Hoover Dam to museums and Italian-style live entertainment — hello, Streetmosphere.

The National Museum of Organized Crime & Law Enforcement — aka the Mob Museum — tops the list with its basement speakeasy and Prohibition era exhibits. The Bellagio earned two spots on the top 10 for its synchronized dancing fountain spectacle and its botanical garden.

And at No. 30: the city’s 550-foot high observation wheel. The High Roller, the tallest observation wheel in the country, takes guests on a 30-minute ride high above the city in 28 temperature-controlled cabins. Prefer cocktails with your view?
