Gobble, gobble! Thanksgiving 2022 was all about spending time with family and friends — and the Kardashian-Jenner clan celebrated in style.
Kim Kardashian kicked off the special day by giving back. The Skims CEO, 42, joined forces with Tristan Thompson to host a Friendsgiving meal for the incarcerated youth of Los Angeles.
“This year I’m really thankful for the people I have met in all of the prisons around the country. This week @realtristan13 and I had an inspiring Friendsgiving dinner with the young men incarcerated at Camp Kilpatrick,” she captioned an Instagram post on Thursday, November 24. “These young men have earned their way to this model camp in Malibu for great behavior. Many are in college classes and have made huge changes in their life. My favorite part at our dinner was going around the table and hearing what their dreams and aspirations are. I can’t wait to see them all come true.”
Following her charitable efforts, the entrepreneur took a moment to promote her many businesses and their Black Friday offerings. The rest of her siblings and mom Kris Jenner went on to share glimpses of their elaborate Thanksgiving meal, from their personalized place settings to their regal family portraits.
The famous family is known for their epic holiday bashes. In November 2021, the brood came together to celebrate Turkey Day, while the year prior, the entire bunch gathered atJenner’s home in Palm Springs, California.
Just last month, the family got in the spooky spirit with Halloween festivities at a lavish house party that featured a spread of snacks — and a truck serving libations from Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila brand for the grown-ups.
The Kardashian-Jenner’s certainly have plenty to be thankful for this year. Khloé Kardashian welcomed a son via surrogate with Thompson, 31, in July. The exes are also the parents of 4-year-old daughter True. The exciting news came less than six months after it was revealed that the NBA star, 31, was being sued by Maralee Nichols for child support.
In January, the basketball player, who previously requested genetic testing, acknowledged that he is the father of the 31-year-old fitness model’s son, Theo, and Thompson admitted that he and Nichols had an affair while he was still dating the Good American founder.
“Every single day, I’ve been feeling depressed and sad, and now that my son is here, I get to move on, and I get to enjoy. It’s almost like I get to close that chapter and be done with this trauma and put it behind me,” Khloé said in a September episode of The Kardashians. “Now I finally get to start the healing process. Now I get to start enjoying my life with two kids in it and figuring this out. This is gonna be day one, and this is gonna be the start of something positive and happy and beautiful.”
This year also marked when that Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker tied the knot. Us Weekly first confirmed that the couple had attempted to wed in April at a Las Vegas chapel, however, the twosome weren’t able to get an official California marriage license until two months later.
The pair then had an intimate ceremony in Santa Barbara — which included Kourtney’s grandmother Mary Jo “MJ” Shannon (née Campbell) and the Blink-182 drummer’s father, Randy Barker – before celebrating with the rest of their friends and family in a separate ceremony in Italy that May.
Kravis’ multiple weddings, however, aren’t their only major milestones this year. In October, the Poosh founder and the musician bought a beach house property from Conan O’Brien for $14.5 million. The oceanfront space marks the first home the duo have purchased a property together.
Travis shares two children — son Landon, 19, daughter Alabama, 16,with ex-wife Shanna Moakler. (The musician is also close with his former stepdaughter, Atiana De La Hoya, 23.) Meanwhile, the former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and ex Scott Disick are parents to son Mason, 12, daughter Penelope, 10, and son Reign, 7.
Earlier this month, Kourtney opened up about wanting a bigger space for her blended family.
“We want our kids to also feel really comfortable and they have both lived in their homes their whole lives for the most part, and they each have their rooms and we are a block away,” the Kourtney and Kim Take New York alum explained on Dear Media’s “Not Skinny, Not Fat” podcast the following month.
