Tyson Fury has returned to social media with a bang. The Gypsy King has demanded a fight with anyone that will have it with him after bouts with Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk collapsed in recent months.
Fury accused both men of not wanting to face him and revealed that Andy Ruiz Jr priced himself out of their proposed contest after demanding that he be paid $20m.
In a video uploaded to Instagram, Fury said: “I’ve been off Instagram for a while, I’ve been on holiday, I’ve been chilling, I’ve been eating, I’ve been doing all sorts of s***. But I just wanted to say to everybody that I want to knock out all these motherf***** out and I’m ready to rumble.
“I’ve not fought since Decemeber through no fault of my own. I’ve tried to fight some little midget Usyk and he’s not wanted anything, I’ve tried to fight AJ, he don’t want no smoke.
“I’ve tried to fight everyone. Andy Ruiz Jr has asked for 20 million, silly little b***** don’t know where he’s got that from. Who’s out there? Who’s available?
“Zhang, he was a good little fight but Joyce wants his rematch so that’s not happening now. So, I’m looking to fight anybody, any place, anytime, anywhere. I cannot wait to fight Usyk, AJ, whoever is out there, I’m f***ing you up because I’m the baddest motherf***** on the planet.”
Fury and Usyk were expected to face each other last month in the first undisputed heavyweight bout of the four-belt era. However, the Ukrainian’s team pulled the plug on negotiations over a disagreement on the purse split for their rematch.
Usyk had already conceded to Fury’s demands of a 70 per cent lion’s share of the prize pot in his favour for the inaugural encounter but did so on the understanding that the split would be reversed for their second fight. According to boxing insider Mike Coppinger, Fury refused to give Usyk anything more than a 50-50 share in the event of a defeat which Team Usyk took exception to.
