Tyson Fury has continued to demand that Anthony Joshua completes the paperwork for their December clash by leading fans in a chant urging AJ to ‘sign the contract’.
The pair have verbally agreed to square off on December 3 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. Last Friday, the final contracts were sent over to AJ’s camp to sign. However, there has been no response as of yet according to Fury.
Growing increasingly frustrated by the lack of progress towards booking the all-British showdown, Fury has continually goaded Joshua for being afraid to fight him. Taking to social media on Friday, he unleashed an X-rated rant directed toward his fierce rival.
“And another s*** house, that big bodybuilder Joshua, that’s a proper s*** house that is. That’s had the contract for I don’t know how long and ain’t signing it. You little sausage, you do not want to fight. Your manager’s a sausage. I’ve never seen anything like you,” he said.
Before following it up with chants of “AJ is a p****, AJ is a p****, na na na!” Fury closed off the video with one final verbal jab, saying: “If he don’t sign the contract now, we know he’s a s**thouse,” as the hundreds in attendance burst into laughter.
Frank Warren has set Joshua until the end of the week to send back the completed paperwork, otherwise, they will seek other options. Fury’s brother Shane recently confirmed that if the AJ fight falls through then The Gypsy King will fight a “run-out opponent” on the same date.
The most likely foe is Mahmoud Charr, who has been wound up in a verbal sparring session with Fury ever since the Mancunian announced he was returning to the ring following his brief retirement in April. Charr (33-4) fits the description of a “run-out opponent” having lost every time he has stepped up to world level.
