Fury mocks Usyk’s size by ‘sparring’ small child to prepare for fight

Tyson Fury has continued his trolling of Oleksandr Usyk by uploading a video of him playfighting with a small child whom he pretended was the unified heavyweight champion. During the clip, Fury goaded his rival, saying: “Come on Usyk, look at Usyk, look at Usyk, go the boy!”

The pair were originally set to face each other in the first undisputed heavyweight unification clash of the four-belt era on December 17, however, the Ukrainian ruled himself out of competition until early next year. As a result, Fury pursued the long-awaited clash with Anthony Joshua on December 3 but that has since fallen apart as well.

Fury now prepares to face a new opponent – believed to be unranked heavyweight veteran Mahmoud Charr on the same date as the proposed all-British showdown. As he started his preparations for his next fight, Fury took to social media to share a video of him messing around in the ring.

Clearly in high spirits, The Gypsy King jokingly ‘sparred’ a young boy, running rings around the child before celebrating for the camera. Fury has repeatedly mocked Usyk for his size, given that he used to compete at cruiserweight where he became an undisputed champion before making the switch to the glamour division.

“I have no real interest in Usyk. Some man that nobody can really say his name? A pumped-up middleweight? It’s not my fault he’s gone and battered AJ, some bodybuilder! It’s not my fault that happened twice in a row.

“There has only ever been me. They try to compete, but they get beat. There’s no disrespect to Joshua – but at top-level, world-class boxing, he just can’t cut it.”
