After tapping Travis Scott to direct the video for the I Never Liked You opening track “712PM,” Future has now dropped the nautical video for the album’s closing song, “Back to the Basics.”

The X Skeeboe-directed video for the track sees Future take to the seas, with a simple visual that places an emphasis on Future’s delivery and the women he surrounds himself with. The clip follows the release of the previously released I Never Liked You videos, “712PM,” “Worst Day,” “Wait For U,” “Puffin on Zootiez,” “Holy Ghost,” “Love You Better,” “I’m Dat N***a,” and “Massaging Me.”

Future previously released a live performance video for the song with Vevo back in October, which can be seen below.

I Never Liked You dropped back in April, 2022, and earned the rapper his eighth No.1 album on the Billboard 200 chart. He scored 222,000 album equivalent units in the first week of release, and he’s kept the impressive momentum going ever since with several high-profile collaborations. In 2022 he joined forces with the likes of Jack Harlow, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby, and most recently, Metro Boomin.

He’s yet to announce if fans can expect more new music from him this year, but he is set to headline Rolling Loud California in March alongside Playboi Carti and Travis Scott. The prolific rapper notably took a break between the release of 2020’s High Off Life and I Never Liked You, and in September he sold his publishing catalog for a deal estimated to be worth eight figures.
