GAME could open orders up for the PS5 once again this week. The official PlayStation 5 hub on the GAME website has been updated to say the release date for the next batch of stock will be February 18. And according to reliable PS5 stock tracker account @PS5StockAlertUK orders for the PS5 could be available online once again at GAME as early as this week.
The in-the-know PS5 stock account posted: “GAME has updated the release dates for PS5 Disc & Digital Editions (+ bundles) to the 18th of February, indicating a possible pre-order chance on the first or second week of February.
“We should have more concrete information on the possible dates sometime next week. Stay tuned.”
In terms of when PS5 stock will become available, GAME typically drops more PS5 stock between 9am and 11.30am on the day orders become available again.
So keep your eye out at this time on the remaining days for this week and next week.
At the time of writing GAME has 29 different PS5 purchase options listed online that will have a release date on February 18.
This includes PS5 Disc and Digital standalone console as well as bundles.
Bundles listed online include accessories such as extra DualSense controllers, digital purchases like PlayStation Store credit and PS Plus membership, as well as included games like Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart and FIFA 22.
If you’ve never tried to nab a PS5 in a GAME restock then there are a few pro tips you need to know about.
Firstly, standalone consoles tend to sell out the quickest so you’ll have more luck trying to place an order for one of the bundles.
Also, if you’re able to it’s best to tackle a GAME PS5 restock on multiple fronts. That means using multiple devices to try and place an order.
So besides using your smartphone to log in to the GAME website it’s best to also dust off your laptop and/or tablet tro try and secure an order.
And finally, with past GAME restocks those who were lucky enough to get an order in had more joy with using Guest checkout, instead of logging into their GAME account.
This has helped in the past speeding things up, and given how quickly PS5 restocks are known to have sold out time in the past this is a crucial factor.
