Gaurav Chopraa recently won hearts for his portrayal of the eccentric Prince Reddy in Rana Naidu. However, the journey through the show had been quite a tumultuous one for the actor and he opened up on it in a recent heart-breaking conversation with Bollywood Bubble host Akash Bhatnagar. Gaurav started by discussing the success of Rana Naidu and even getting a call from Hollywood post that. He then discussed his dark phase during the journey on the show and how co-actors Rana Daggubati and Daggubati Venkatesh helped him get through it. The actor spoke about dealing with the grief of losing both his parents in a span of 10 days during Covid, going through separation in his personal life and facing his darkest and lowest times. He shared the challenges of being a single parent, the undermining of a father’s struggles and how staying away from his son added to all the pain and darkness. However, he came out of it and he shared how. The actor also presented his point of view on the discrimination that TV actors face in films and how, even at his stage in career, he still have to deal with a lot of those factors.
