Gemma Atkinson announces arrival of baby boy ‘Little man is here’

Gemma Atkinson has given birth to a baby boy and she shared the happy news in a heartwarming social media post.

The former Hollyoaks star, 38, and her Strictly Come Dancing pro dancer, 32 – who met on the series back in 2017, although they were not paired up together – made the announcement on social media on Wednesday July 19.

Their new arrival is a younger sibling for daughter Mia, who they welcomed together on July 4, 2019.

“Little man is here! He arrived safe and sound and he’s utterly wonderful. Mia is already the mother hen we expected her to be,’ she wrote in her caption.

“We’re all home together soaking up this lovely little bubble before Gorks has to leave for Strictly rehearsals next week.

“Thank you for all the lovely well wishes. Our family is complete.”

Their new arrival is a younger sibling for daughter Mia, who they welcomed together on July 4, 2019.

The couple shared they were expecting a second baby in January with Gemma posting several adorable black and white snaps, including one of Mia cuddling up to her blossoming bump.

She said at the time: “Impossible to hide my belly any longer. I’ve officially ‘popped.’

“Our baby boy will be joining our family later this year.

“We feel so incredibly blessed and Grateful to be on this journey again. Mia is absolutely thrilled! Although we may need to do some negotiating on names, as so far she’s adamant he’s going to be called Barbie.”
