Genshin Impact: Dendro Hypostasis location

The Dendro Hypostasis is the latest big boss to make an appearance in Genshin Impact. As part of the newest event going on in the game, players will want to face this boss with their own Dendro character, otherwise they might struggle to take this enemy down.

While the Dendro Hypostasis doesn’t look as frightening as some of the others that have appeared in this most recent event, players shouldn’t write off this world boss. Instead, come to the underground arena ready for a fight.

To find the Dendro Hypostasis, players are going to want to head down to the Sumeru Desert. Specifically, you should look for the Land of Lower Setekh. This is just south of Dar al-Shifa. Since you can farm this boss for good loot, you’ll want to unlock the nearby waypoint so you can get back to this location easily.

Once you’ve unlocked that waypoint, run off the cliff to the southeast and look for a tunnel that leads underground. If you follow the tunnel, you’ll eventually find yourself inside the Dendro Hypostasis boss arena, where you can take part in the fight. As noted above, it’s highly recommended to bring a Dendro character along, as they’ll be able to provide more damage to the boss.

While the boss doesn’t look like much, the Dendro Hypostasis boss is one of the more difficult because of its self-healing ability. This ability allows it to heal any damage you do to it, and you’ll need a Dendro character to do damage to the three nodes that appear during this healing phase. If you don’t damage these nodes, the boss will continue to heal and the cycle will continue.
