Genshin Impact is finally getting the much anticipated Sumeru region, along with the Dendro element and a plethora of new characters.
It’s been a while since players have received such a big update for Genshin Impact, with the last one marking the debut of the Inazuma region. While many expected that the Sumeru region would arrive much before, miHoYo has saved its biggest update for a special occasion. The game’s second anniversary is just around the corner, so fans have plenty to look forward to in the coming days.
As always players are curious to learn more about the voice actors of the new characters. Previously, we have witnessed miHoYo bringing voice actors from Honkai as well as some popular anime shows. This time around also, we have some notable artists joining the cast for voiceover the likes of Collei, Tighnari, and Dori.
Collei’s Japanese voice actor is Maekawa Ryoko. Maekawa is known for its voiceovers in Fruit Basket, Magic of Stella, Cop Craft, and a plethora of other anime shows. miHoYo fans would instantly find the voice familiar as Maekawa was also the voice behind Wendy from Honkai Impact 3rd.
Tighnari is voiced by the popular artist Kobayashi Sanae. One of the aspects which makes Kobayashi such a versatile artist is the fact that she can voice both male and female characters, a quality, not all artists have. Kobayashi has been associated with many anime shows as well as video games, such as the likes of Rune Factory 4, Armored Core V, Elfen Lied, Project X Zone, and Sonic X.
Last but not the least, the voice actor of Dori is Tomoko Kaneda who is known for her roles in the Digimon franchise. Apart from that, Tomoko has also been associated with Kingdom Hearts III, Powerpuff Girls, and a plethora of other popular video games and anime shows.
