If you’ve been hoping to save money on flights and have a travel buddy you’d like to bring, you’re in luck. Southwest Airlines is offering a promotional Companion Pass®. But you’ll need to act quickly, as this promotion ends on April 05, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. CDT.

How To Get The Promotional Companion Pass
Getting the promotional Companion Pass is pretty simple. First, you’ll need to register here. Note that you will need your Rapid Rewards number in order to register (it’s free to get one if you don’t have one already).
Next, you’ll need to purchase either one round trip flight or two one-way flights by April 05, 2023 at at 11:59 p.m. CDT. These flights must be traveled on by May 24, 2023.
After that is done, you’ll get the promotional Companion Pass, which allows a friend or family member to fly for free (aside from taxes and fees from $5.60, one way) with you between August 15, 2023, and September 30, 2023. However, this pass is not valid on flights purchased with points.
Once you’ve completed the steps above, you’ll receive an email from Southwest Airlines that includes the next steps. You’ll be able to designate your lucky companion then.
Unfortunately, this offer is only good for flights booked between April 3-5, 2023 after the traveler has registered.

If you want to do a bit of traveling with a friend or family member in the fall, this can be a good way to save money. You’ll be spending money now to hopefully save some money later. However, you’ll need to move fast to catch this promotion.
