Gigi Hadid wore a sheer, ab-baring black cardigan and jeans at the height of summer

If you’re one of those people who pack up all their black knitwear and jeans for the hot summer months, Gigi Hadid just proved that you don’t have to.

The model was photographed walking around NoHo in New York City wearing a sheer black cardigan with a pair of baggy, straight-leg grey jeans. She paired the casual look with a pair of grey converse, a statement chocker necklace, and oval-shaped black sunglasses. 

Yes, Gigi’s skater-girl era continues. Just two days earlier, she turned heads in New York City by pairing a colorful knit crop top with a soft bucket hat, loose ripped Danielle Guizio jeans, and the aforementioned converse. 

Gigi Hadid, who has modeled for the biggest fashion designers since she was two years old, may be utilizing paparazzi photos to act as a walking billboard for her upcoming knitwear line, Guest in Residence.

On August 4, Hadid shared a peek at her latest business venture in an Instagram dump. “Been workin on something …. with love, @guestinresidence ???????? :),” she captioned the series of photos, which include Hadid looking over color swatches and piles of cozy-looking knitwear. Of course, there is plenty of black swatches on the board.

Many of Hadid’s 75.1 million followers, including her famous friends, are excited to get their hands on some Gigi Hadid originals. “So excited about this ????,” Hailey Bieber commented, while Laura Brown dubbed Hadid “The Mayor of Snuggletown.”

As of August 4, the Guest in Residence Instagram account has yet to post and the bio simply reads, “KNITTERS,” with a link to a website that doesn’t give fans much to go on. So far, there is only a logo and the option to subscribe to a newsletter. Watch this space.
