Supermodel Gigi Hadid can wear absolutely anything she wants and get away with it. So, when she wears something even slightly controversial, people tend to notice.
Recently, Hadid was snapped leaning on a red Coca-Cola van in casual weekend wear. The model, who recently partnered with Coca-Cola, paired colorful Teva Hurricane XLT2 sandals with plain white athletic socks, oversize yellow shorts, and a vintage-looking Mickey Mouse and Friends T-shirt. If not for her long legs, slicked-back hair, and multiple gold chain necklaces, Hadid could’ve been mistaken for, well, a regular weekend warrior.
If, by some chance, you’ve never worn socks with sandals—or more specifically, strappy Tevas with sporty white socks—then we have to say: don’t knock it until you try it. The look may give off major dadcore vibes, but that’s sort of the point, right? But, if you’re questioning whether fathers really know best, know that Hadid certainly does.
