Gio van Bronckhorst admits plan to follow Steven Gerrard from Rangers to Premier League

Gio van Bronckhorst admits plan to follow Steven Gerrard from Rangers to Premier League

“For me, it doesn’t change the way I work and how I see my future. I just enjoy the day and work hard for tomorrow and we will see what happens.”

Van Bronckhorst played for Rangers from 1998-2001 under the guidance of Dick Advocaat, before signing for Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal where he won a Premier League and FA Cup.

His successes at Highbury caught the attention of Barcelona where he won the La Liga title and a UEFA Champions League.

But he has credited his time at Rangers as being the springboard to his career, stating he can’t wait to get back to work at Ibrox.
