Fans may remember Mia Talerico as little Charlie Duncan from Disney Channel’s Good Luck Charlie, but the actress isn’t a baby anymore! The youngster is officially a teenager
“May all your birthday wishes come true! In difficult times you have shown strength and resilience. You are so very kind and have a great attitude. Keep shining and keep smiling,” her family posted on Instagram in honor of her birthday in September 2020
As fans know, Mia’s claim to fame started when Good Luck Charlie premiered. In 2010, after four seasons the show came to a bittersweet end in 2014. The show also starred Bridgit Mendler, Bradley Steven Perry, Leigh-Allyn Baker, Eric Allan Kramer and Jason Dolley.
Now, Mia stars as Paige on the BRAT TV internet series Mani. And while chatting with Just Jared Jr. the actress shared tons of fun facts about herself.
“My parents named me Mia because I was two weeks late and I was Missing In Action,” the Disney alum revealed. “Don’t believe everything you read on the internet. I am an only child and do not have a younger sister named Aubrey.”
During the same interview, Mia revealed that people still think some of her Good Luck Charlie family members are related to her in real life.
“Seriously, kids still tell me that my dad doesn’t look the same in person as on TV,” she explained. “He’s not my real dad but the Good Luck Charlie cast really is like family to me and we have lots of great memories together.”
Mia added, “I started filming Disney’s Good Luck Charlie when I was 10 months old and finished before kindergarten.” Now, as of September 2021, the actress is a teenager! We can’t wait to see what she continues to do in the future as her career blossoms – and it’s already starting.
