‘Goodbye’ boasts a versatile cast with legendary Amitabh Bachchan and an excellent actress Neena Gupta in the lead roles.

Besides the big stars, the movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna who has done a debut with this film. Some of the pivotal characters in the film are Sunil Grover, Elli AvrRam, Pavail Gulati, Abhishekh Khan, Sahil Mehta, Ashish Vidyarthi, Arun Bali, and Shivin Narang.  

‘Goodbye’ is directed and written by Vikas Bahl and produced by Viraj Savant, Shobha Kapoor, and Ekta Kapoor under the banners Balaji Motion Pictures, Good Co, and Saraswati Entertainment Pvt Ltd.

About Goodbye’s Storyline & Trailer 

‘Goodbye’ is a movie made on the theme of the value of family and the celebration of life in all its forms. The story revolves around a disjoined and dysfunctional family, where Amitabh Bachchan plays the character of Harish who is the head of the family and lives with Gayatri played by Neena Gupta. Gayatri tries to be calling her children and none of her children respond to her and she passes away, whereas Harish reaches out to his children and faces the same. While returning to Chandigarh, the children are fighting for their rights, arguing with their father without feeling any emotional loss.

Will the family grow closer again? How will the family equation change?

 

The trailer of the film was released on 6th September 2022 and was released at the box office on 7th October 2022. Now the makers of the film decided to release it on an OTT platform as the fans of Amitabh Bachchan quite like his family man avatar in movies. 

Goodbye Movie Review 

The fans and critics gave positive reviews to the film and called it an emotionally packed movie, ride with tears and joy. Many audiences mentioned it as a heart-breaking and heart-warming story as it shows the ways today’s families cope with sorrow and grief.  

Though the big star played their part brilliantly in the film, the critics also said the storyline and depressive time could have changed it to make it more interesting. The film also did not make a mark with box office collections and as of 13th October, the movie collected merely INR 8.74 crores at the box office.

Goodbye OTT Release Date & Time 

The film was released at the theatres on 7th October 2022 and received a positive review from the fans although its earnings were not up to the mark.
