Gordon Ramsay Will Be Opening Ramsay’s Kitchen At Harrah’s Las Vegas

Las Vegas is known for its celebrity chef restaurants, and there’s also often a curious phenomenon. Often acclaimed chefs will open up a restaurant in Vegas and ultimately open another. So what has these celebrity chefs coming back time and again?

A perfect example is Ramsay’s Kitchen, which will be opening next week at Harrah’s Las Vegas, promises to have a blend of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s specialties, but with an added Las Vegas flair.

Ramsay’s Kitchen is also the chef’s sixth Las Vegas restaurant in partnership with Caesars Entertainment, so clearly the relationship is going pretty well. But what makes this sixth Vegas spot unique from so many others? “First off, the design,” said celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, famous for his starring role in shows such as Hell’s Kitchen and MasterChef, in an interview. “We’re bringing some incredible contemporary designs into Harrah’s and it’s definitely one of the most beautiful we’ve opened,” he said.

While the Ramsay’s Kitchen concept is new to Las Vegas, it was actually originally launched in Boston. “This concept is based on my all-day concept in the UK as well as my travels around the US and the world, so you’ll see lots of dishes that differ from my other restaurants on the strip,” says Ramsay.

The new restaurant will also have a seven-seat seafood counter and a full bar, and a lot of his most famous dishes will make an appearance on the menu. “I mean it wouldn’t be a Gordon Ramsay restaurant without a beef wellington and sticky toffee pudding!” says Ramsay.

Sometimes, a night out is more about sharing food and conversation with friends than the entree on your plate or the cocktail in your glass. That’s part of why shared appetizers are an integral part of this menu. “I’m really excited about a lot of the shared appetizers. We have some delicious flatbreads as well as some amazing dishes that you’ll see seasonally. I’m also excited to bring the delicious crab cakes we brought to Ramsay’s Kitchen Boston as well as our tuna tartare,” says Ramsay.

Of course, this concept is going to have to have some distinctly Vegas touches. “Well in Las Vegas we’re catering to so many different people. You have Vegas locals, conventions from around the world, tourists, as well families. Restaurants in Vegas need to have that wow factor to make sure they stand out,” says Ramsay.

And thanks to the design, it absolutely will stand out. “The design is absolutely stunning. There are so many unique areas within the restaurant to dine that I think visitors and locals will be coming back again and again. A lot of the design plays homage to the sea as well as subtle nods to Las Vegas,” says Ramsay.

Ramsay’s Kitchen Las Vegas will open on November 16 and reservations are now available through OpenTable.
