Their latest product the Glide Hexa Light Panels looks to add that extra bit of colour to your setup.

Govee’s Glide Hexa Light Panels instantly feel premium out of the box. The ten included panels have a sturdy and robust build with a nice white matte finish.

The mount on the back feels firm once locked into place, while also covering the connectors.

Each mount has an adhesive strip for easy mounting alongside the connectors which are used to create the designs.

Govee’s Glide Hexa Light Panels feature a stellar build that will be a nice addition to most housing decor without being too imposing or intrusive.

With each panel being about 18cm wide they are an adequate size that once slotted together won’t feel too overbearing.

The beauty of the Glide Hexa Light Panels is that they use an RGBIC chip that allows each to display multiple colours at any single time.

This is a massive step up from RGB lights which can only display one colour at a time.

Setting up the light panels was fairly straightforward and Govee even provided a spirit level to help with the task.

Govee’s dedicated App makes installation a breeze, with an easy to follow step by step guide. Firstly the app shows you what each part is and how everything works in a demonstration video.

After that you have to design the pattern you want to arrange the panels in, once done the app will show the correct way to connect the lights.

Once connected the app will calibrate to make sure each light is in the right location and is working correctly.

Setting up the lights is really simple and the app does a great job at explaining each step thoroughly.

The app comes with several features that grant the owner full control over the lights. There are over twenty different preset lighting combinations to choose from.

Govee also allows owners to create their own lighting setups choosing from a variety of colours and effects.

Govee includes a further option called Music Mode that allows the lights to flicker in time with a music choice, this can be done in two ways.

Firstly by syncing the music from your phone with the lights via the app or using the mic in the control box which picks up sounds from music, movies, games and more. It is really responsive and works effortlessly.

The app itself is fantastic and easy to navigate, I’ve only touched a tip of what can be achieved, with owners being allowed to dictate colour schemes, timings, direction of patterns and more.

Govee have packed a lot of variety into their light while keeping everything really accessible.

The lights also work with Alexa & Google Assistant allowing owners to change between the different presents.
