Grand-Hotel Du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel Inaugurates Two Villas

“To live happily, we have to hide away” this proverb finds all its meaning here. Located in the heart of the French Riviera, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat is nestled in an exceptional site surrounded by greenery.

Perched on a peninsula jutting into the Mediterranean Sea, the ancient seaside village has become a fashionable seaside resort since the 1950’s, popular with celebrities and politicians from all over the world.

The iconic palace of the French riviera is located at the end of the cape in the middle of 17 acres of lushly landscaped gardens overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, a Four Seasons Hotel has just inaugurated two new historic villas nestled in the lush landscaping of the property. Now, the new villas Beauchamp and Clair Soleil are available to rent. Orchestrated by the interior architect Sybille de Margerie, these two magnificent villas offer friends and families a luxury stay in total privacy. These exceptional villas are an ode to craftsmanship, design and art inspired by the seaside style of the early 20th century of the French Riviera. “With the launch of Villa Beauchamp and Villa Clair-Soleil, guests seeking privacy and seclusion can enjoy the villas unique setting and fabulous design, while benefiting from exceptional Four Seasons service” explained General Manager Francois-Regis Simon. “Our clients expect to feel at home when they are on holiday” he added. The palace completely understood what their clients were looking for. The answer was to make the project alive. New Villa Beauchamp and Villa Clair-Soleil are in the portfolios of the hotel along with the Villa Rose-Pierre. The three villas offer butler service, have private access and of course guests can use all the palace facilities. A pathway connects the Hotel’s three Villas, it is then possible to rent them all.

What can be expected ?

Villa Clair Soleil

Next to Villa Rose Pierre, the new villa Clair Soleil is more intimate. Built in the mid 2oth century, the two bedroom villa has kept its refined atmosphere. The living room opens onto a panoramic terrace with views over the Mediterranean Sea. Here again, Sybille de Margerie carefully selected the artists to work with. The renowned designer Andreea Braescu created a chandelier with exquisite white biscuit and porcelain elements.

The color palette is more vibrant with touches of red, orange: don’t forget that the sunlight is always present in the villa. Green accents recalling the outside landscape, marble floor, bronze decors, delicate furniture make the villa an ideal dreamlike hideaway. An unparalleled elegant atmosphere and a nest of tranquility. Villa Clair Soleil has also a swimming pool and a private gym, with direct access to the garden.

Villa Beauchamp

Nestled in a beautiful Mediterranean garden signed by the master of gardens Jean Mus, the five-bedroom villa is so elegant and definitely exudes a southern feeling. The sunny color palette selected by Sybille de Margerie enhances the atmosphere of peacefulness. She has commissioned multiple artists to create magnificent artworks inside the villa. Each detail of the decor is carefully chosen so that the luxury of the inside perfectly merges with the outside.

In the living room, the painter Claire Basler created a dreamlike green fresco inspired by the umbrella pine trees while in the master bedroom, the artist Véronique de Soultrait created a wall decor using rope marquetry embellished with a touch of gold leaves.

In the main bathroom, the stunning mosaic floor is inspired by the work of Jean Cocteau, a reminder of his work at the nearby Villa Santo Sospir.

Villa Beauchamp also owns a 16 meter pool, state-of-the-art cinema room, a Technogym fitness room along with a sauna and hammam, with direct access to the garden. Adjacent to the villa, the Pavillon is independent with its two bedrooms fully equipped, with a private terrace for each room.
