Kia EV is here and wow, do they know how to keep the consumer coming back for more!
With its Aston Martin-like exterior, consumers can’t get enough of the EV offerings from Kia. As the mass market leader in sales and satisfaction in the past, Kia looks for more ways to get the job done.
In Grasso’s Garage this week, Kia does it again, this time in the all EV market with their popular EV6 GT-line. Our rear wheel drive tester offered a 77.4 kWh Lithium Ion Battery with a 310 mile range, 225 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque.
Similar to Hyundai’s IONIQ5, the EV6 includes seating for 5 and a nicely laid out and spacious interior. With comfort at the top of mind, the EV6 hits it home. With infotainment and consumer usability also top of their needs list, the EV6 redesigns the center stack and driver instrument cluster to better accommodate the front row users. With the center console trimmed down in size, leg room is all the advantage. A turn-dial transmission knob was also present and located correctly. The interior felt very comforting and very elegant as Kia really identifies what the consumer wants and nails it.
The EV6 boasts tremendous site lines as well as exterior offerings. The styling and body curvatures are just write, aesthetics are soothing while the recently redesigned Kia logo is perfect for the EV6. Our GT-Line model came with heads up display, alloy pedals, LED ambient interior lighting, a wide sunroof, an array of safety features and Suede seats. A dual panoramic sunroof was also present that was really nice for sunroof lovers abound.
When consumers ask the common question “Marc, what is your favorite vehicle?” or “What brand do you like the best?” Kia always comes to mind. Their warranty is incredible, their vehicles are built to last and most importantly they have done such a great job providing affordable vehicles that offer nice appeal into the market, that is hard not to identify them as a clear choice
. The EV6 is no different; It brings a lot to the table for the price.
