Grasso’s Garage: Subaru lovers stay outdoors with Outback Wilderness!

Go outside and stay!

For all of my Subaru lovers, this one’s for you. Subaru finally listened to its consumer cult following and developed its ever-popular Outback wagon with a little extra. Extra, you heard it right. Subaru now offers the Outback with a Wilderness package.

Full of Subaru wagon fun and all that entails, now the added Wilderness package gives consumers the ability to off-road it. With an astounding 9.5 inches of ground clearance, Subaru lovers can now go anywhere! Riding on 17-inch all-terrain tires, four-wheel independent suspension, off-road tuned, and Dual X-mode traction management system, it took to the wilds easily. Plus, the Geyser Blue color was a show-stopper for backwoods lovers while staying under $40,000.

With gold accents abound, the Outback Wilderness was really nice looking and had tons of pep.

The popular 2.4-liter turbocharged dual overhead camshaft 16-valve Boxer engine aligned with a “not-so-bad” Lineartronic High Torque continuously variable transmission, which was matched with an eight-speed manual mode. The upshot is really a nice addition to the already neighborhood-friendly Outback wagon.

On the interior we notice outdoors-friendly additions confirming that consumer requests are at the forefront of Subaru’s minds. Wagon-style storage space, upgraded 11.6” tablet-style touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, 10-way adjustable relaxing seating with lumbar support, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM and Bluetooth connectivity are just a few of the great features to say the least.

For Subaru consumers, this is a total win. It really satisfies the great outdoorsy type while still maintaining its great storage space, practical utilization and dependability. For the brand, it is just another ace up its sleeve as it continues to produce consumer-requested vehicles for those who can’t get enough of a one-stop vehicle satisfying all needs, while staying under the budget, especially in today’s ever-inflated vehicle pricing.

So go ahead, go outside and stay there, because in the Outback Wilderness, it’s just what you do. Nice work Subaru.
