A decision will come down to tipoff determining whether All-Star Ja Morant will play in Game Two against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday.
Memphis Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins said Morant would be a game-time decision with his hand injury while talking to reporters during his pregame press conference.
“He’s feeling a little bit better, but his status is still a game-time decision,” Jenkins said.

Morant, 23, suffered the injury against the Lakers in Game One while attempting a high-flying dunk.
After the game, Morant admitted doubt whether he would be ready for Game Two because of the pain he was dealing with. But the fact he’s a game-time decision now shows progress has been made.
For the Grizzlies sake of winning this series, they will need their most important player anyways.
