GT vs MI: Hardik Pandya to Piyush Chawla – Players Who Can Cross Milestones In IPL 2023 Qualifier 2

GT led by Hardik Pandya will look to bounce back from qualifier 1 loss to Chennai Super Kings, while MI-led by Rohit Sharma will look to carry their winning momentum from their Eliminator victory over Lucknow Super Giants as both teams aim to earn an entry into the IPL 2023 final.

While the winner of qualifier 2 heads to the final, scheduled to take place on Sunday (May 28), the loser will head home. The IPL 2023 Final also will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

GT opened their season with two successive wins, including the victory over MI in the league stage, followed by a defeat to Kolkata Knight Riders, but have since won 8 of 12 matches with the recent result being a defeat to CSK.

MI, meanwhile, opened their campaign with back-to-back defeats, but responded with 3 successive wins before going on another 2-match match losing streak. The record champions, however, have since won 6 of 8 matches with their most recent result being victory over LSG.

GT and MI have already met twice earlier this season. In Ahmedabad, GT beat MI by 55 runs after setting a target of 208, while MI avenged that loss in the reverse fixture by 27 runs after setting a target of 219 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

The two sides will now clash for the third time this season and for the second time at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, where several players including GT’s Hardik Pandya and MI’s Piyush Chawla, have a chance to reach milestones or break records.
