Gucci Launches New Immersive Metaverse Experience

This week, Gucci opened the proverbial doors on an immersion-minded experience within The Sandbox, complete with an assortment of digital collectibles and special perks for NFT holders.

Gucci Vault Land, as it’s known, was crafted by the luxury Italian house’s Vault concept store, which itself is the brainchild of Alessandro Michele. Through Nov. 9, what’s billed in a press release as a “play-to-know narrative” will be available for perusal, with entry notably not requiring an NFT or other form of ticket.

After visitors begin their journey at the Garden of Curiosities, a story is told across multiple rooms, each one crafted to represent different elements of the unique creative intention behind the larger Vault project. Among the privileges awarded to guests is the chance to restore a vintage bag in the Vault Vintage Lab, among other memorable mini-excursions.

While an NFT is indeed not required to access any of this, there are benefits of holding a SUPERGUCCI or Gucci Grail NFT, for example, including a shot at claiming one of those aforementioned collectibles.

Get a look at how this all shakes out within The Sandbox below via some mid-experience screenshots. For additional info, including details on how to access the space, hit this link.

The latest such expansion from Gucci follows its launch of Gucci Town within Roblox back in May, as well as the unveiling of a smart ring accessory in collaboration with the health tech providers at ŌURA.
