On Wednesday, singer Guru Randhawa took to Instagram Reels and treated fans to a behind-the-scenes video from his latest song Moon Rise with actor-singer Shehnaaz Gill. The Moon Rise music video, featuring Shehnaaz and Guru, was unveiled on Tuesday. Guru asked his fans whether him and Shehnaaz look cute together. In the clip, Shehnaaz and Guru can be seen laughing and smiling while looking at each other. The two held each other’s hands as the posed for the camera in front of trees. Shehnaaz wore a backless pink dress, while Guru wore a blue shirt with white pants. He added their song Moon Rise to the Instagram Reels.
Sharing the video on Instagram, Guru wrote, “People say we look cute together. Do we? Me and @shehnaazgill thank you all (red heart emoji).” He used ‘Moonrise’ as the hashtag on the video. Reacting to the post, one of his fans wrote, “You both have hot chemistry (fire emoji).” Another fan commented, “Yess absolutely… shaadi karlo aap dono (you guys should get married).” A fan wrote, “After Sidharth Shukla, I think you are that person who can hold her pyaar se (with love). Hope you both will be a great couple.”
Shehnaaz and Guru’s music video for Moon Rise has been directed by Gifty, and presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series. The video created a contrasting timeline featuring sweet moments between Shehnaaz and Guru, which had received abundance of love from their fans. Sharing their song, Guru wrote in a joint post with Shehnaaz on Instagram handle, “#MoonRise Ft. @shehnaazgill is out now worldwide Show your love and support.” The song is sung, composed and written by Guru.
On Tuesday, Shehnaaz shared video of her singing Moon Rise cover, and wrote, “Moonrise, thank you for accompanying me on the guitar @samuelshetty. Dekh Guru mai bhi hogayi shuru (See Guru, I have also started) @gururandhawa.”
On work front, Shehnaaz Gill will soon make her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan’s film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. It will also star Pooja Hedge, Raghav Juvyal and Palak Tiwari. The film is set to be released in theatres in 2023 on Eid.
