Gwyneth Paltrow stole a celebrity-packed Gucci fashion show in Hollywood on Tuesday night in a replica of a red velvet suit she rocked in 1996.

The Iron Man star wore an almost identical outfit by the label to the MTV Movie Awards 25 years ago and she paid tribute to her throwback look by copying other details too – she wore the same colour shirt and styled her hair in a neat bun.

Other big names hitting the TLC Chinese Theatre for the brand’s Love Parade runway show included Jared Leto, who will play Paolo Gucci in upcoming film House of Gucci , Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin, and British actress Jodie Turner-Smith.

Paltrow also made waves on the night when she was caught having a friendly catch up with Dakota Johnson – who is dating her ex-husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

The big night served to highlight both the latest Gucci designs and label bosses’ philanthropic efforts in Los Angeles.

“As part of Gucci’s Changemakers program, powered by Gucci Equilibrium, it will provide significant support to the Los Angeles and Hollywood communities through a donation to the city’s most critical needs: homelessness and mental health,” a statement shared to Womens Wear Daily read.
