It’s fair to say that the model, social media personality and entrepreneur switches up her manicure almost as often as her clothes. Each upgrade not only goes viral on TikTok but is like catnip for nail art lovers everywhere who are seeking out fresh inspiration for their next manicure appointment.

Our obsession with Hailey Bieber’s signature almond tips arguably started with the viral glazed donut nail, which she wore to the Met Gala back in 2022. Created by her favourite manicurist Zola Ganzorigt, who also happens to be on our expert panel for the GLAMOUR Beauty Power List Awards 2023, the hashtag #glazeddonutnails currently has more than 259.8 million views.

In a TikTok video, Zola explains how she used OPI professional products – a base of OPI GelColor Stay Strong Base Coat, followed by one coat of sheer milky white OPI GelColor in Funny Bunny – to create neutral nails so shiny they resemble a glazed Krispy Kreme. Sandwiched in between two layers of topcoat is what she calls “the magic” part – OPI Chrome Effects in Tin Man Can rubbed on the nail with a small brush.

Given the popularity of her glazed donut nails, Hailey has treated fans to various spin-offs ever since, including chocolate and strawberry glazed donut nails and the festive candy cane glazed donut nails.

Never one to shy away from experimenting with nail art, Hailey also has a penchant for over-the-top manicures. She has single-handedly revived the tortoiseshell manicure and made glow-in-the dark cool again with her neon green alien nails that actually did glow all night long at Coachella.
