It’s no secret that Hailey Bieber wears some stunning manicures — she even inspired a whole new nail trend with her glazed donut manicures. Her last manicure that had fans ooohing and aahing was a neon-green set with abstract gold lines that glowed in the dark, which she shared in mid-April. Now, we’re trying to understand what sorcery is at work that made her new nude manicure look like it was gleaming within.
Hailey Bieber posted a close-up photo of her almond nails to her Instagram stories on May 3. Her manicure looked like a take on aura nails, which have been a popular nail trend since the fall of 2022. Aura nails involve a gradient made up with two or more polishes. Typically the nails are painted one color, and the second color is airbrushed onto the center of the nails.
The base of Bieber’s manicure was a pale pink that closely resemble her skin tone. A white polish was added to the middle of each nail. The white was most concentrated at the centre, then diffused out, creating that airbrushed finish. It makes it nearly impossible to see exactly where the white nail polish ends and the pale pink hue begins.
If you’re unaware of Bieber’s fanbase, let us give you the 411. They are damn near obsessed with anything Bieber does and ready to mimic it on their own bodies. That’s what helped her glazed donut nails become a trend. So, we have a good feeling they are already scrambling to find the materials to recreate this set.
