Harry performed ‘submissive pose’ with Kate & William in 2017 – claims

Prince Harry, 38, joined forces with Prince William and Kate Middleton back in 2017 to launch their Heads Together campaign. The campaign was centred around mental health and how everyone should come together to talk about their well-being. The Duke of Sussex was highly emotional in the clip and even performed a “submissive pose” with his brother and sister-in-law according to a body language expert.

In the video clip to promote the campaign launch, Kate, Harry and William sat on a park bench where they discussed their own struggles with mental health.

The Duke of Sussex explained how important a family is to maintaining good mental health.

He said: “If you can have a family environment where you can talk openly about your issues, that makes a better family, better preparation, working better at your job, doing better at school, it just goes on and on and on.”

Judi James, a professional body language expert spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk to explain how the Duke may have foreshadowed the current alleged rifts in the Royal Family.

She claimed: “This video from 2017 should be required viewing for everyone taking sides over the fraternal rift and Harry’s subsequent claims in Spare.

“There are no signs that William, Kate and Harry are acting or pretending here beyond the fact that they are aware they are being filmed.

“There is so much that is still raw in their body language and they are opening up to help others with mental illness to do the same, so it is important for their message that they are authentic.”

However, Judi argues that only one person’s body language was highly “upsetting” in this clip and for a key reason.

She explained: “Although all three are airing their personal experiences to help others do the same, it’s Harry whose body language looks upsettingly vulnerable.

“Hunched over the table in a submissive pose, he sits with his fist to his mouth, nodding as Kate speaks.”

At one point, the Duke might have shared too much about his personal family issues, according to the body language expert.

Judi opined: “When he says ‘Everybody else’s life is perfect, there must be something wrong with me’ his eye expression as he looks a William appears to be one of silent pleading.”

As this clip was recorded in 2017, this means that the Prince and Princess of Wales were parents to only Prince George and Princess Charlotte at that time.

Prince Harry, on the other hand, had not married Meghan Markle yet, nor was he a parent to Prince Archie Harrison or Princess Lilibet Diana.

Judi continued: “He bites his lip and as William and Kate discuss being parents, Harry looks quiet, sad and slightly excluded, despite one incongruent lightning smile.

“When Harry speaks of ‘hidden wounds’ his words sound personal,” the expert claimed.

This was likely because his mother Princess Diana sadly died when Harry was only 12 years old.

Seeing as Heads Together was a mental health initiative, he likely had to speak about the subject because it was so topical.

Judi suggested “At one point when he and William are referred to over their mother’s death, Harry’s body language response is dramatic.

“He sucks his lips in with the corners of his mouth pulled down and pushes his chin out in an almost animal gesture of grief.”
