Harry Styles goes ‘never say never’ when asked about One Direction reunion: I don’t see why we wouldn’t

Harry Styles is still keeping the hopes alive for millions of fans who want to see a One Direction reunion. During his appearance at the last episode of James Corden’s The Late Late Show, Harry responded to the possibility of getting a reunion by saying, “never say never.” (Also read: Harry Styles deletes Instagram Story with One Direction shirt on, fans freak out)

One Direction, which consisted of singers Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, announced they were going on hiatus in August 2015 so they could pursue solo projects. This is not the first time that Harry Styles has addressed the question of a possible reunion. The recent Grammy Award winner had also addressed the topic of getting the band back together at a podcast some time ago and said that there’s still a lot of love between the members of the group and if there’s a moment for them to reunite in the future, that would be great.

During the last ever Spill Your Guts or Eat Your Guts segment in the show, Harry read the question, “Yes or no, will there be a One Direction reunion? Will it ever happen?” He then responded cheekily, “I fear that it’s not a yes or no question. I think I would never say never to that. If there was a time when we wanted to do it, I don’t see why we wouldn’t.”

Earlier last month, Harry had sent the internet into a meltdown after he posted a selfie of himself on his Instagram Stories with a One Direction T-shirt on, and then deleted it just an hour later. Eagle-eyed fans noticed the mirror selfie a bit too closely to spot the One Direction T-shirt on Harry that looked seemingly from the group’s 2012 Up All Night Tour. Recently, when Harry Styles took to stage to accept his 2023 BRIT Award for Artist of the year, he thanked his former bandmates and said, “I want to thank Niall, Louis, Liam and Zayn because I wouldn’t be here without you either. Thank you so much,” Styles said in his speech.

Harry Styles recently won big at this year’s Grammy Awards, scooping Album of the Year for his album Harry’s House, in addition to winning Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classic.
