Has Helen George left Call The Midwife as Trixie Franklin?

As she drove off in the car, the rest of her friends and colleagues at Nonnatus House waved her off.

The 11th season was filmed whilst actress George was pregnant with her second daughter, Lark.

So it is likely the star left the series for the rest of the season to go on maternity leave.

Some fans took to social media to comment on the fact the actress was pregnant during filming, but her character was not.

Responding to the comments, George said: “I’ve seen too many ridiculous comments about my pregnancy whilst filming @CallTheMidwife1 (also thank you for the lovely comments!).
