Ange Postecoglou and Robbie Neilson have both made changes to their starting lineups as Hearts host Celtic in the Premiership.

Last week’s hat-trick hero James Forrest returns to the team after missing out in the midweek League Cup win over Motherwell as does Giorgos Giakoumakis who scored a double in Saturday’s 6-1 win over Hibs in Glasgow.

Daizen Maeda, who completed the scoring against Hibs also in comes in from the start for the first time since the 2-0 defeat to RB Leipzig in the Champions League.

Joe Hart returns in goals behind Ralston, Carter Vickers, Jenz and Bernabei with a midfield three of Arron Mooy, Reo Hatate and Matt O’Riley.

Hearts start with Craig Gordon in goals behind M. Smith, Sibbick, Kingsley, Cochrane, Kio, Devlin, Snodgrass, McKay, Ginnelly and Humphrys as Lawrence Shankland drops to the bench.

VAR makes its Tynecastle debut in the Premiership as the technology is rolled out across the league this weekend.

Celtic can go five points ahead of Rangers if they win while Hearts could potentially move up to fourth if they get all three points and other results go their way.
