It reads: “Nick and Charlie navigate their new relationship; Tara and Darcy face unforeseen challenges and Tao and Elle work out if they can ever be more than just friends. With exams on the horizon, a school trip to Paris and a prom to plan, the gang has a lot to juggle as they journey through the next stages of life, love and friendship.”
We’re buzzing for the coming-of-age wholesomeness and drama that is sure to come.
Who is in the cast for Heartstopper season two?
Of course, Kit Connor and Joe Locke are returning as Nick and Charlie, along with William Gao (Tao), Yasmin Finney (Elle), Corinna Brown (Tara), Kizzy Edgell (Darcy), Sebastian Croft (Ben), Tobie Donovan (Isaac), Rhea Norwood (Imogen) and Jenny Walser (Tori).
There will also be a host of new characters joining the Truham and Higgs crew, including Leila Khan who will play Sahar Zahid, Nima Taleghani as a teacher called Mr Farouk (dare we fix him up with art teacher Mr Ajayi, an MVP from season one?) and Jack Barton as Nick’s older brother David.
We’re also going to see more of Bradley Riches, who we saw in season one as an unnamed Truham student and will return to season two as a character called James McEwan. Thibault de Montalembert is set to play Stephane, Nick’s dad. Bel Priestley and Ash Self will play new friends of Elle’s Naomi and Felix.
When and where can I watch Heartstopper season two?
It’s set to drop on 3 August – so not long now – only on Netflix. If you can’t wait that long, catch up with the first season, which is available to watch on the streaming service now.
