Akshay Kumar and Rakul Preet Singh starrer Cuttputlli was released on a streaming platform on September 2. It is currently streaming on the platform Disney+ Hotstar. The film is based on the Tamil movie titled Ratsasan. It is a psychological thriller that shows Akshay playing the role of a cop named Arjan, who investigates the murder cases of young school going girls. The film Cuttputlli, which was previously known as Mission Cindrella, is directed by Ranjit M. Tewari and produced under the banner of Pooja Entertainment.

The film featured Akshay Kumar, Rakul Preet Singh, Sargun Mehta, Chandrachur Singh, among a few others. Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar played officer Arjan in the film. He reportedly got paid a salary of Rs 50 crore for his role in the movie.

Rakul Preet Singh

Rakul Preet Singh plays the role of a school teacher and Akshay’s love interest in the movie. She reportedly got paid Rs 4 crore for her role.

Sargun Mehta

Actress Sargun Mehta made her Hindi film debut with the movie. She played the role of Akshay’s senior reporting officer. The actress was paid reportedly a whopping amount of Rs 1.5 crore.

Chandrachur Singh

Chandrachur Singh played Akshay’s brother-in-law and one of the senior officers in the movie. He reportedly got paid Rs 1 crore for his role.

Sujith Shankar 

Sujith Shankar reportedly got paid an amount of Rs 80 lakhs as fees for his role in the film Cuttputlli.

Gurpreet Ghuggi

Gurpreet Ghuggi, who plays one of the cops in the movie, working alongside Akshay was paid reportedly Rs 40 lakh for a role in the film.

Jitendra Rai

Actor Jitendra Rai was paid a whopping amount of 15 lakh, as per the reports, for his role in the film.
