The movie Rocketry: The Nambi Effect was released in theatres on July 1 and is riding high on positive reviews from fans and critics. The film features R Madhavan, essaying the character of Nambi Narayanan, a former scientist and aerospace engineer of the Indian Space Research Organisation. Narayan was falsely accused of espionage. Talking about the movie, it is also written, produced and directed by Madhavan. The movie also features actors Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya in a special appearance.

R Madhavan
The actor plays the role of Nambi Narayanan in the movie and he has also directed and produced it. As per reports, he got paid a total amount of Rs 5 crore for his work on the movie.
Shah Rukh Khan
Shah Rukh plays the role of an anchor in the movie. As per reports, the actor did not charge a single penny for his performance in the movie. SRK did the movie for free.
Suriya
Suriya goes by the character name Suriya itself in Rocketry. Just like SRK, Suriya also charged zero amount as fees. He took to fees and did the movie for free.
Simran
The actress played the role of Meena Nambi in the movie. She got paid a whopping amount of Rs 1 crore, according to reports.

The veteran actor plays the role of Vikram Sarabhai in the R Madhavan directorial in the Hindi and English language versions. He reportedly got paid Rs 70 lakh for a role.
Misha Ghoshal
The actress played the role of Geeta Narayanan in the movie. She reportedly got paid Rs 40 lakh.
Ravi Raghavendra
This actor played the role of Vikram Sarabhai in the Tamil language version of the movie. Reportedly, he got paid Rs 55 Lakh as fees.
Gulshan Grover
The actor played the role of late former President of India, Dr A.P.J. Kalam. As per the reports, he was paid 50 lakh for his role.
Karthik Nayar
This actor played the role of P.M. Nayar in the movie and got paid a fees of Rs 30 Lakh for his role.
Dinesh Prabhakar
Dinesh Prabhakar essayed the character of L. D. Gopal in the movie. He reportedly got paid Rs 20 lakh as fees for his role.
