Last spring, we all got to witness Michelle Yeoh take on one of her biggest—and best—roles in A24’s hit Everything Everywhere All At Once. The action-filled, multiverse-jumping film follows Michelle’s character Evelyn Wang as she goes from struggling with filing her taxes to having the fate of others in her hands.
But even though Michelle was the movie’s lead, she was adamant the movie is “not about me,” as she said in the September 2022 cover story of Town & Country. “This story is about many people—mothers, aunties, women out there who walk by you in the supermarket unnoticed,” she said in the interview. “They never have a voice. They’re never the superheroes.”
The film has received so much positive attention, the latest being a whopping six Golden Globe nominations. On top of that, Michelle is up for Best Actress in a Musical/Comedy Motion Picture, and rightfully so. Stephanie Hsu, Ke Huy Quan, James Hong, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jenny Slate, Harry Shum Jr., and Tallie Medel also star in the film.
If you’ve seen the movie but have forgotten some of the story by now (or if you haven’t seen it at all), then trust me—now would be the time to dig into it. Here’s how.
Okay, you got me. How can I watch Everything Everywhere All At Once?
