South Korean singer Jihyo, of K-pop girl group TWICE, is set to make her solo debut this August with ‘Killin’ Me Good’, from the mini-album ‘ZONE’.

Over the weekend, Jihyo released a timetable on TWICE’s official Twitter account with details on the content releases for her upcoming solo debut mini-album ‘ZONE’.

Jihyo will drop three spoilers for ‘Killin’ Me Good’, supposedly the title track of her upcoming project, on July 29 to 31, with a snippet of the song coming on August 4.

Meanwhile, the tracklist for ‘ZONE’ will drop on July 31, with a trailer for the album coming a couple days later on August 2. From August 7 to 10, Jihyo will also release different concept photos.

In the week prior to the release of ‘ZONE’, Jihyo will drop two album sneak peeks on August 11 and 16, as well as music video teasers for ‘Killin’ Me Good’ on August 14 and 17.

Jihyo will then officially make her solo debut with ‘ZONE’ on August 18 at 1pm KST / 12mn EST.

This will make Jihyo the second member of TWICE to make her official solo debut, after vocalist Nayeon released her debut EP ‘Im Nayeon’ and its lead single ‘POP!’ in June 2022.

Additionally, member Chaeyoung hinted during a March 2023 interview that the group and its members would be releasing more solo projects moving forward.

Their latest release as a group had been their March mini-album ‘Ready To Be’, which was led by the single ‘Set Me Free’. In support of its release, the group later embarked on their ‘Ready To Be’ world tour the following month with a two-night concert in Seoul.
