Actor Neetu Kapoor who has been missing from onscreen is all set to make her comeback with JugJugg Jeeyo after hiatus. Fans are quite excited to see Neetu onscreen in the upcoming family entertainer but do you know what convinced her to say yes to JugJugg Jeeyo? Well, they are none other than her daughter Ranbir Kapoor and daughter-in-law Alia Bhatt.

In an interview with NDTV, Neetu Kapoor revealed that she wasn’t in the right frame of mind when Karan Johar offered her the part in JugJugg Jeeyo.

When asked about what did it take to say yes, Neetu revealed, “I was going through a very bad state at the time. Karan Johar and Ranbir were at home and my son said that I should start working. Karan said, ‘Can I come tomorrow with a script?’ Just a day after that he and Raj came. The script was so good. Even in that state of mind, what I was going through, I was stunned at how well it was written. The scenes were beautiful, the dialogues were so powerful, I said I’m doing it. It was so lovely. It’s the script that draws you, everybody was drawn towards the script.

Meanwhile, in another group chat, when asked if they gave her any advice before she went on set for JugJugg Jeeyo, Neetu Kapoor quipped, “Advice nahi par maine unhe bola ki tum dono itne ache actors ho, please meri reading le lo. (Not any advice, but I did tell them that since they are such talented actors, they should take my reading). They started laughing at me and said that I’ll be fine and I should go with full confidence.
